McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center
McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center recently completed a move from a 3,000 sf building to a 30,000 sf building. We are a Tier 1 Child Advocacy Center and have brought together 7 agencies from government and not-for-profits who are all under one roof to server children who have been physically and/or sexually abused.
The renovations and FF&E required for the project exceeded one million dollars. As a not-for-profit agency, cash management is critical and to complete the project, we turned to Interstate Leasing Co. Bernie Maurer structured a Capital LEase that included Phones, Furniture, Security System, A/V Systems and Renovations. The lease allowed us to complete the project in time, while making the payment terms fall within our cash flow projections.
The process was quick and there were no closing costs as might be expected with a conventional loan or mortgage.
With the lease in place, McMahon/Ryan was able to turn over the completed space to the various agencies and we are now an efficient stat of the art child advocacy center that functions as a cohesive unit.
